Summary
As the last bell rang, his attention was captured by a thin boy with curly black hair and striking blue eyes heading toward his desk. Charlie Spring. He carried himself timidly, Nick noticed as he got closer. But even after seeing him, Nick still couldn’t pinpoint where he’d heard of him before, because he definitely did not recognize him.
Nick felt like he would’ve remembered him, had they met before.

Summary
Against his better judgment, Nick stepped forward and closed the gap between them. He had only intended for the hug to be brief, but once he was finally holding Charlie, it was nearly impossible to let go.
Or: a reimagining of the events that take place directly after Nick leaves Charlie's house, and his internal struggle over the awkward hug. (So technically this is a re-write of how they get together because it's set before Harry's party.)
