    “Of course I do.” Regulus snapped, feeling oddly like the edges of his sanity were fraying. The tips of his fingers tingled. Surely — he couldn't NOT know.
    James Potter was a pureblood heir! Even with his family’s more than muggle-loving inclinations — surely. Surely. He told himself.
    James jiggled the box of delicately decorated chocolate heart’s and suddenly Regulus saw his own hand make a grab for them. He was out of his mind!
    He stared at the chocolates in his hand, three chocolate heart’s that smelled faintly like James - bloody - Potter.

    OR: In which Regulus get's himself willingly love-potioned and James get's himself unknowingly love-potioned (only for a short while though) and it's basically an emotional mess ☝️
