Summary
Wyll has been a dancing prodigy since he was a young boy. His father had wanted him to pursue more masculine interests, thus leaving him to turn to his teacher, Mizora, to take him under her wing. He now works at her dance studio teaching ballroom dance and competing all over the country. But he’s been having a hard time keeping professional partners for any length of time. Several found that they weren’t up for the amount of work it takes to become the best in the country. One left after a horrible injury. His most recent partner left the whole industry to become a stay at home mother, and Wyll was starting to think he was cursed.
Wyll didn’t know that his boss was scouting out an aging national champion. Astarion, who has lived a hard life, trying to get out from under the influence and financial strain of his adoptive father, Cazador. Might he be the one to break this curse?

Sorry about taking British characters and putting them in America. But I don’t know what the dance scene looks like in England, and the American in me was going to bleed out in the writing anyway. So please bear with me, I hope I can write a compelling enough story that you can forgive this transgression.

In the heart of downtown Los Santos, stood a little jazz club called the Sanguine Rose. A little dive bar that was all dolled up into a classy looking joint. You didn’t go to the Sanguine Rose if you valued your life. Inside the fake art deco building, on a stage in front of the dining room, a single spotlight beamed down on a singer. Her curls were pinned tightly to her head. Her dress was much too sexy for the decade the building emulated. She eyes glued to the front door. Waiting. Watching. For something to begin.
