"Mark!" Junior's tone was sharp, almost a growl. Mark was startled. Junior's eyes burned red with anger, the air around them heating. Mark's throat went dry; he couldn't even meet Junior's gaze. Bowing his head, he took another sip of water.
On normal days, Junior would've just whined, 'Okay, go ahead and do it. ' But this was different. Mae Yui, sensing the shift, said, "okay okay now stop joking, let's get back to work, get up" she rose and gave Junior a hand.
