Shu has just stared at him, helpless in his feelings, staring as his best friends go on about his crush, they had met in a cocktail party BC Sol organised after a tournament, she was lovely, Valt was saying, his hazel eyes shining under the light of his apartment, his features animated with excitement. The apartment suddenly feels a little too cold, and Shu just smiles, though his heart breaks into pieces, his hands tremble with the effort to appear unperturbed, he watches Valt sparkle with absolute emotions glistening in his eyes, and Shu tears himself apart to join along, congratulating him, wishing him all success.
A.k.a Shu is in hopelessly love with Valt and Valt being oblivious about it.
