Summary
Cody wakes up in a bed that is far too comfortable to be his own, but could just as well be jointly his for all the time he’s spent in it.
The sensation of soft kisses on his neck has him nigh on breathless. He figures that must be what woke him; his head is tilted at just the slightest angle to make room for the intrusion, and yet Cody does nothing more than sigh and relax into it.
His fingers feel a normal temperature, so he hasn’t lost any blood.

“Is that something you’re interested in, Cody?” One long finger traces down the back of Cody’s hand. The coolness of his touch almost makes him shiver. “Control?”
Is this… is this going where Cody thinks it’s going? Should he risk it in a response? A thrill goes through his stomach; his breath catches in his throat. He finally meets Ben’s gaze, painfully aware that his breathing has accelerated and his heart is pounding away in his chest. “No, sir. There are some aspects of my life where it is logical to maintain control, but the bed is not one of those places.”
“Intriguing,” Ben muses. He doesn’t look displeased with the answer; his lips curl up at the corners. “Very intriguing.”

Obi-Wan awakens gently.
The sun sends golden rays across the multitude of plants in the window and scatters the light further into the room, birds are audible through the small bit that the far window is open to provide some fresh air, and while her nose is just the slightest bit cold, she’s utterly warm under the covers.
A long line of heat presses against her back, across her stomach, up to the back of her neck. She hums quietly in contentment and snuggles back into it, fingers at the end of that warm arm idly tracing patterns over the smooth fabric of her silken camisole.
