Yasmin leant her head on Xever’s shoulder. “I have no idea where I’d be right now if I didn’t have you.” She didn’t have many friends, not even many friendly associates, but this single friendship with Xever made up for all of it. “I know I don’t really open up much but I have to say it…you have no idea how much you mean to me.”
“Yasmin…” He blushed under his already red scales. He never formed many close relationships. He didn’t want another Vitor situation.
Yasmin looked at him. His skin was cold and slimy, but to her it was a warmth like no other.
