Summary
Fabienne was coupled with Carl when she returned from Casa Amor. She hadn't really been interested in any of the guys after Lucas was voted out right after coming into the Villa in the early days.
But when he suddenly returned she couldn't resist his charms, ignoring her growing feelings for Carl.
And well, Carl didn't take it too well when she confessed cheating on him.
The finale was a disaster for Fabienne and she realized what she had done and how gullible she had been. She had forgotten this was a game.

A Carl fic with such a rich, intriguing take on the post Villa experience and the Returning!Islander arc. The writing is absolutely gorgeous and masterful and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into characterising and adding so much depth. A surefire rec and in my opinion, a future classic and one of the character definining fics for Carl.

A strong, strong start to what's probably going to be an amazing fic. The early threads of an intricate plot are on show and knowing that the author never misses, I'm beyond excited to see where this goes. Like Line Of Duty but better and sexier by proxy.
