Their plastic Jack-o-Lantern baskets bounced around with the funny clunking of individually-wrapped candies that the kids had charmed from parents, grandparents, and the occasional begrudged teenager. Leading the small crowd was the biggest kid of them all, a lanky 6’2 Pied Piper-like figure with an animated toothbrush mustache, telling them age-appropriate spooky stories. Spencer knew that Hotch would not forgive him if Jack couldn’t sleep because of a particularly gruesome story he heard during Halloween.
Watching him from afar, JJ had figured out Spencer’s blindside.
