If Reki had a penny for every time he blushed around Langa, he’d be middle class. If he had a quarter for every time he got butterflies around Langa, he’d be making thousands. If Reki had a dollar for every time he’d stay up all night thinking about him, he’d be rich.
It was their third year of high school, and Reki clung desperately onto the familiar memories of skateboarding at S, practicing with Langa, and teaching him as his world slowly changed in front of him. His feelings towards Langa suddenly weren’t the same, but maybe that wasn’t such a bad thing.
