Arvid has a habit of forgetting things. Liam, somehow, always has what he needs.
It starts with a borrowed pen in Melbourne. Then it’s sunglasses, chargers, water bottles, a cap, Liam’s favourite hoodie. Eventually, Liam starts bringing extras and Arvid stops pretending he isn’t looking for him.
The rest of the paddock figures it out long before they do. Arvid was never really looking for the things he’d forgotten. He was looking for Liam.
