  Summary

  In "The half-blood prince" Draco doesn't survive Harry's sectumsempra because Snape enters the bathroom too late. Because of this, Dumbledore doesn't die yet (his hand will kill him eventually) because Draco doesn't get to finish the cabinet and Snape’s unbreakable vow kills him. Somehow they still find out that it was Draco who tried to kill Dumbledore and now Harry is overwhelmed by guilt and the sick thought in the back of his mind, that it might have been better this way.
