Summary
His lips tugged upwards, and a mischievous glint flashed in his eyes. “Voco Araniae.”
Translucent webs snared around her feet and ankles. “Astarion!” she exclaimed. “I can barely move as it is.”
“Just wanted to ensure you couldn’t get away from me,” he purred, running his thumb along her lower lip.
Mor playfully tried to nip at his thumb. “You’re insufferable.”
He laughed and gave her hips a squeeze before shimmying her pants down until they snagged on her boots. His calloused fingers trailed over her freckled skin as he brought them back to her hips. He began kissing down her waist and along the slight curve of her hip.
“Hmm, you’re proving my point.” Mor squirmed as desire rose in her throat.
Astarion responded only by locking his sanguine eyes with hers and slowly sinking to his knees.

Mor shifted closer to him, their arms not quite touching. Electricity hummed in the sliver of air between them. Astarion leaned slightly to eliminate the space. He was pleasantly surprised when she didn’t automatically flinch from the coolness of his skin unlike so many had in the past.
“I need your help with something,” she said. The skin around a few of her nails had been picked at. He noticed she did that whenever she was nervous or thinking deeply about something.
“Oh? And what would that be?”
She grinned mischievously. “I need to steal something from Lae’zel.”
