Kakavasha opened the moka pot, damped the left-over coffee from last night inside the bottom chamber, then added the funnel and filled it with coffee powder. He closed the moka pot and put it on the stove, ready to start it, when a large hand stopped his from turning it on.
A warm, heavy weight fell over his back, slightly pushing Kakavasha against the stove.
“You’re going to give yourself palpitations, if you drink that abomination,” Ratio muttered, his breath teasing Kakavasha’s ear — standing close enough that his morning stubble tickled Kakavasha. It was as if Ratio was trying to beat his ‘Super Coffee’ in giving him heart problems first.
