Fate likes to play tricks on him, Beomgyu has learned. She likes to toy with his fragile heart, to dump all of the bad and sad in this cruel world on his lanky, narrow shoulders, and then she laughs in delight when he struggles to carry the heavy load of grief and anger. Yeonjun’s mysterious return, despite his supposed death four years ago, and his frivolous demands make things much harder for Beomgyu.
