Summary
“You didn’t tell me your agent’s name was Dick,” Eddie says, halfway to a laugh.
Buck tries to force a smile onto his face, but it won’t come. “Yeah, he didn’t mention that before. Apparently, that was info he only wanted to share with you.”
“Oh, weird,” Eddie says, like it’s not worth thinking about. “Still funny, though.”
“Hilarious,” Buck says as he pulls into the street and Eddie types in the next address.
OR
The problem isn't that Buck's real estate agent is into Eddie or that Eddie seems to like it; it's a matter of professionalism.

Summary
Bobby would like the record to state that he did not intend to be this much of an asshole about it. Quite frankly, it had been an unforeseeable turn of events completely out of his control as long as you ignored the fact he had done it on purpose and enjoyed every second of it. Because Bobby Nash was not a spiteful man. He could, however, be a very petty one.
---
The Buckley parents happen to be in town around Buck’s birthday, and they let something slip about his non-existent baby box. Bobby decides to do something about it.

Summary
He’s already here.
There’s no harm in staying. Just for a couple minutes. Something could happen. Something could go terribly wrong. There could be, like, a robbery or something. Something could catch on fire, and Buck is a firefighter! An asteroid could even descend cinematically from the heavens ready to wipe out all of humanity. Accidents happen, Buck is intimately acquainted with this fact of life.
Buck really wishes he had that coffee right about now. But he’s not gonna leave.
Or, Eddie tells Buck he’s moving to Texas. In response—as the world’s most supportive, caring and well-adjusted best friend—these are three things Buck absolutely does not do:
- Keep tabs on Eddie, his calendar activity and his iPhone location so that he can spend as much time with Eddie as humanly possible before he leaves.
- Almost violate California Penal Code 646.9.
- Lose his entire fucking mind.

Summary
"It's not what it looks like," Buck blurts.
Bobby's eyebrows reach for his hairline. "So you weren't violating the one-firefighter-per-shower regulation?"
"We," Buck sputters. "I mean, okay, yeah. We were, but we—"
"We were figuring out breakfast," Eddie cuts in.
"Well, next time, figure it out in different stalls."

Summary
Inevitable comes around four in the morning. He’d been tossing and turning since they’d gotten back from their last call a couple hours ago, and had finally decided to give up and look for a snack in the kitchen. He thought he left the bunk room quietly enough that no one would notice, but when he pulls his head out of the fridge with a jar of peanut butter, Eddie is standing across the island from him, that grim look still fixed on his face.
“Hey,” Buck says.
“Hey,” Eddie says back. “You’ve been avoiding me.”
Buck’s cornered and he knows it. He shrugs, twisting the jar in his hands. “It’s been a busy shift.”
Eddie doesn’t roll his eyes, but Buck still feels like he does. Instead he walks over to the big table, pulls out a chair and sits. “Just wanted to ask if you can stop by after our shift is over. Wanted to talk to you about something.”
