It is the way in which Tian holds him, slender fingers wrapped around his wrist with a strength that Jiu did not know Tian possessed. Jiu can still hear voices shouting in the distance but Tian's grip on his wrist is louder, it is firm and it is the only thing that keeps him grounded amidst the chaos.
