Summary
After a small, seemingly unimportant quest, Percy and Nico are cursed by a flighty goddess. Periodic spells of intense pain that can only be soothed by each other's touch.
As Nico looks for a solution to their predicament, Percy tries to keep his life going, with the knowledge they can't stay away from each other for long.
Ironically, despite being forced together, Percy and Nico are driven further apart as they try to separate their growing, confusing feelings from the curse.

How could Nico describe it? Hot cocoa on a cold winter’s night that could burn his tongue if he wasn’t careful? Being so incredibly cold and then taking a bath so warm it could give him shock? He was unsure when he started associating this shameful endeavor with warmth, but he slowly grew into enjoying the comparison.
Though Percy was usually a comfort to all of his senses, one struck him harshly this time. An assault on his nose, really.
