Summary
Reigen is walking home one day when he sees a kid whos clearly a bit beat up, choking another kid, AND psychic, with no experience with his powers before now.
So now it's apparently somehow his job to keep this quiet, troubled kid who is in an increasingly stressful situation safe and calm enough to not blow up, and teach him how to interact with both people who are trying to beat him into a pulp and who aren't.
And then it isn't just one kid, but a slowly accumulating group of distressed people.
How does he get into these situations?
OR: Mogamiland is real. The world is worse, but that doesn't mean there aren't small moments that it all better.

Summary
Teru sets the skateboard down on the pavement between him and Shigeo. Taking a couple deep breaths, grounding himself, before he steps up. Shigeo just watches him with mild curiosity. I’ll land it this time, he promises himself. The steps are simple enough in theory: flick, jump, slide. He just needs to do this and then maybe Shigeo will be so astonished by his skateboarding prowess that he’ll finally see him as more than a friend. That’s the plan, anyway.
He shifts one foot to the tail of the board, slams down on the end, jumps, shifts his feet back, and—
Slides right off the board, landing flat on his front on the concrete street outside of Shigeo’s house.

Summary

10 year old Shigeo Kageyama has vanished, his trail instantly cold, and his case gathers dust in police archives as a kidnapping never solved. Four years pass before a chain of events causes his path to cross with that of the despondent, unfulfilled fake-psychic-turned-fake-investigator, Arataka Reigen. Reigen finds himself in over his head caring for an escaped victim of abuse who, for reasons unfathomable, has been taught to believe his very existence is a horrifically dangerous thing…
