Summary
On the Fourth of July 1985 Eddie Munson decides to go to the cinema to watch Back to the Future. His curiosity gets him involved into something crazy and dangerous, but at least he gets an unlikely friendship with Steve Harrington out of it. Now, if only he could not fuck it up.
aka Eddie gets involved with the upside down at starcourt, starts hanging out with Steve, and by the time Vecna comes things are complicated.

Summary
Eddie has produced a beat-up looking notebook from somewhere and is writing on it. Just a few seconds later, he has it held up towards Steve with a grin.
Best meal of my life, it says.
Steve rolls his eyes. This is ridiculous. They are in the middle of an apocalypse and this guy, he is… He is dispersing the black clouds around Steve’s head.
Steve gestures for the notebook. Eddie hands it to him with the pen.
I’d kill for a pizza and a beer right now.
He shows it to Eddie, who just nods like he has just read the wisest words of his life.
“Pepperoni?” Eddie asks without sound.
“Sausage,” Steve answers.
Eddie pauses a couple of seconds with a pout and his eyebrows raised before he nods again, approving Steve’s choice.or, two boys find each other in a city full of chaos and creatures that will hurt anything that makes a sound and decide to survive together
