Summary

One very long Valentine's Day changes Remus's whole perspective on his future.
"Today’s mischief had been solely Remus’s brainchild, and was still a secret from the other three Marauders. This is why, at 3 AM on February 14th, he was hiding under James’s invisibility cloak and sneaking back into the Gryffindor Common Room.
All this to say that he did not intend to eavesdrop on James and Sirius’s very private conversation at three in the morning. Of course, he didn’t intend to, but sometimes one must put a color charm on the entrance of the Great Hall to charm everyone’s robes hot pink for the day, and on the way back to bed, one happened to stumble across one’s two best friends discussing none other than … oneself.
“I think I might die if I don’t get to kiss Remus soon,” Sirius mumbled.
Remus, under the cloak, paused mid-step."

“Who?” Terra’s eyebrows furrow, either at his presence at their suite in general, the nickname she’s never heard before, or the fact that he kind of stumbles in place. “Riven? Are you drunk?”
He leans a hand against the doorjamb to steady himself. “The mind fairy, Terra, is she here?”
She opens the door a little further, revealing her flannel pants and oversized band tee, and he has a tiny strike of clarity about what time of night it must be.
“You mean Musa?” she murmurs lowly. “Well yeah, she’s in our room, but—what do you want with her?” Always so suspicious of him, like it was never the two of them against the world.
“Can you go get her?” he presses on.
