Summary

Bucky is haunted by the past. His memories of his time as The Winter Soldier keep him up at night and away from people.
Cassandra is haunted by the future. Her ability to see glimpses of people's futures is overwhelming enough to keep her away from people as well.
When these two meet at their therapists' office, they form a friendship based on their mutual introversion and trauma. Their friendship begins to blossom into something more, only to be interrupted by the attacks of the Flag Smashers. A familiar face becoming the new Captain America only adds to the chaos, and Bucky and Cassandra must learn to fight together, no matter the cost.
