When he finally opened his eyes, they were met with the most gorgeous creature he had ever seen. She seemed to be glowing, which was fitting considering Ben thought she was an angel.
She stared back at him with a similar expression of wonder, until finally she cleared her throat and demanded his attention. He blinked at her slowly, still trying to process everything that had just happened.
The strange, beautiful creature in front of him crossed her arms over her chest and stared at him with a suspicious glint in her eyes. “Who are you?”
Then, without warning and before he could answer her, she disappeared without a trace.
