Eddie spends the next hour or so learning about Owens, about Will Byers, about Eleven and some megachode called Brenner. His brain is so full his head feels heavy, but what it amounts to is this: being thrust into an afterlife of servitude by the fickle hand of an eldritch supervillain and then ripped, screeching, back to life, might have some flavor of residual effect on him.

“Oh,” says Troy, surprised. “But we’re not — not that I’m not interested — but we aren’t a couple.”
“Friends with benefits,” says Abed, holding up his pointer finger.
