Peace in the New Republic is not coming as easy as desired.
The newly reformed, and quickly growing, Mandalorians and their fearsome king have announced they will not join the New Republic’s hold and it is making keeping the peace become progressively more difficult to the point political marriage may be the only way to prevent bloodshed. However, no one in the New Republic can meet the impossible standards set by the Mand’alor.
Well, almost no one. Fortunately, Senator Organa has a very eligible Jedi-warrior brother.

Tatooine is an absolute dump of a planet.
It's truly no wonder that it's a criminal and slave trader's paradise. No-one else would settle on a planet so far away from what anyone would call civilization, with infertile ground, unbearable heat and all that kriffing sand.
No-one else, except for a kid that offers Din an awkward flirty grin and a drink. A kid that shines as bright as the twin suns burning bright in the sky.

Summary
At first, Din Djarin is confused by Luke Skywalker's Jedi persona, and how he behaves without it. After witnessing 'Just Luke' in action, he decides he may need to stick around, listen to his rambling stories and keep the clumsy man from injuring himself. For Grogu, of course.
But soon he finds himself craving more from the Jedi, confronting internalized shame, and sharing his own stories, his self and maybe even sharing his life with the bright man he feels magnetically drawn to.

Beneath his serene Jedi exterior, Luke is still an awkward farmboy at heart, which often means he pours his heart out when he's nervous.
Strong and silent, Din Djarin makes him very nervous, and much rambling ensues.
Determined to get the man to like him - or at least, tolerate him - Luke spills tales of his life, admittedly not at the most opportune times. But it turns out, Luke might have been interpreting the man's silence and attention incorrectly all along.
