Revon Keres. Nic had heard of him. He’s the man behind Kyle, who commands him on his missions.
“How do I stop him?” Nic whispered, her voice shaking.
Lux’s hollow eyes glowed red for a moment, then ceased back to its empty void. “Thee wilt venture to Keres’s castle, located on the tallest knoll in the West, and destroyeth his weapon before Christmas day. Thee has’t the present day and tom’rrow to achieveth this.”
“And ere thee leaveth, hunteth’r,” Lux paused, “knoweth yond at which hour the embers breatheth, the one closest to thee shall falleth.”
