Summary
Despite not leaving Inazuma unscathed, the Vision Hunt Decree was finally abolished. Though its dissolution brought back the taken visions, the gifts from Celestia remained useless in most cases, for the ambitions that brought them in the first place did not return with them.
So what was left of someone that didn't have anything but ambitions, whose vision was tragically seized? Homesickness, and not much more.
Naturally, that someone would go back home.
And, naturally, the world left behind would continue without them.
...Right?

His head falls to the side, lips against her ear now. “I wouldn’t dare do something that could displease her majesty on our first night together,” he whispers.
“Just Latil.”
She feels his lips curving against her skin, right before he leaves a kiss on the space right below her ear.
“I don’t want to displease Latil either.”
