Summary
Seongjun’s gaze is locked on Gyujin’s mouth. How the omega's bottom lip is trapped between his teeth, biting back the words—unsure if they should ever be spoken to existence.
The smell of the omega’s restlessness is curling around the air. If Seongjun is somewhere near normal, he would suffocate from the uneasiness too.
But this is Gyujin. This is his omega. And his omega can never evoke anything that will make him turn away. His omega. All that he gives, is Seongjun’s to take, on the palm of his hands, and hold them like they’re something sacred. His omega.
Even if Gyujin doesn’t know it yet.

Summary
Hyuntak had always been popular in school. Making friends came easily to him- people seemed to gather around him without effort. But no one ever fit into his life the way Yeon Sieun did.
They didn’t even share much in common. Gotak liked bright blue, Sieun preferred black. Gotak always chose strawberry ice cream, Sieun picked vanilla. Gotak could talk for hours, while Sieun simply listened. Gotak loved watching cliche romance movies while Sieun was obsessed with true crime.
And somehow, in all those little differences, they fit together perfectly- like two puzzle pieces that shouldn’t match, yet somehow always did.

When Sieun is absent from class for the first time in his life, Hyuntak gets worried. He shouldn't be; they are rivals after all. But once he hears that Sieun was rushed to the hospital due to a medical emergency, he runs out of the classroom as the memories of what they once were rush back to him.
