It was over, it was finally over. They had won the battle but at what cost? The air was clearing, the particles disappearing like fireflies in the daylight. The sky going from red and black to a bright white, the clouds not ready to part and let the light in fully. Yes, they saved Hawkins but they lost themselves in the process. After dragging themselves back from hell, they all climbed into their respective cars and parted ways.
