As she fumbled with her keys, the door of the apartment across from her opened.
“Do you need some help?” A voice Clarke had hoped she’d never have to hear again asked.
She turned only to have her worst nightmare confirmed, there in front of her in the light of day stood Bellamy Blake.
“Ahh, princess,” he nodded his head slightly as if in thought before opening his mouth again, “never mind.”
And with that, he walked back into his apartment and shut the door rather harshly.Or the one Clarke ran away from her past only to run into it again.

“Clarke,” he breathed when he saw her again. He almost hadn’t recognized her, she’d cut her hair and put a streak or two of red in it.
He hadn’t realized just how much he’d missed her until that moment. He thought he’d gotten over her but seeing her again brought everything back like a tidal wave.

Hesitantly she did, she looked into his eyes not really knowing what to expect but whatever she was expecting it wasn’t the look he was giving her. Sadness was the overwhelming emotion she could make out, but there was something else. Something else in his eyes that she couldn't put a name to.
“This isn’t your fault,” he says it with such conviction she almost believes him. Almost.Clarke is very capable of saving herself and always has been until one day she no longer is.
