Summary
Sometimes it’s easy for Annabeth to forget about being forgotten.
With the sand between her toes and a book in her lap, it’s easy to see what she's been missing out on for so long. She watches as Percy summons a small wave for Matthew and Bobby, the two yelling as they body surf it back to shore. Lips tugging upwards when the wave collides and the two boys cheer and try to tackle Percy into the water.
Or, Annabeth and Percy have a not-so-pleasant dinner with her dad.

I mean, it wasn't a secret that he and Annabeth were going to be in it for the long run. Their fourteenth anniversary had been just a month ago, their house was almost finished and the rings on their fingers(though still fresh on them) felt as if they had always been meant to be there.
But if her impeccable timing and perfect organization of birth control was a sign of something, it was that children weren't coming yet.
So when Percy found a pacifier in one of Annabeth's drawers, he didn't know how to feel.
