Izuku’s eyes bulged. Suspended in disbelief, all he could do was laugh.
In fact, Izuku couldn't help but think that this prophecy sounded like complete and utter bullshit.
Or, when Izuku finds himself in the capital, his world is upended. His mission? Protect the brash, foul-mouthed prince from the shadows, for he is the Hero who will wake the realm from her slumber… eventually.
But to succeed Izuku must hide that he has magic, unless he wants to end up on the pyre by morn.

"I didn't know you were so traditional." Katsuki smirks. He bends on one knee and props up his hands, opening it like a clam shell. "Baby... I know it's only been twenty years, but will you-"
"Get up!" Izuku whacks him upside the head. "Oh my god, you are so-"
Katsuki cackles as he speeds up the mountain and Izuku chases after him.
Katsuki is rudely awakened in the middle of the night by a frantic Izuku who suddenly remembers that on their third year of high school, during a safety program in a quiet little farm town to the south western part of the country, he and Katsuki buried a box under a barren tree. After twenty years, they finally come back and collect it.

“I'm moving out of the country,” Izuku tells him on a random Tuesday afternoon, words slipping from his lips. They’re at their usual spot, a quiet café tucked between steel and concrete, where the smell of fresh pastries and coffee grounds always clings to the air. It's where they meet up to catch up on their week.
Bakugo's heart drops to the ground, so heavy it feels like it might crack through the tile floor. He stares at Izuku, really stares, the words pinning him in place. The boy-no, the man that he’s spent years trying to keep at arm’s length, only to find himself falling for him harder with every sarcastic quip and unguarded laugh. And now he’s just casually tearing Bakugo’s world apart over a fucking latte.

Bakugo has to deal with Izuku moving to a whole different country, he tries to move on but how can he when he loves Izuku.

Izuku stared at Katsuki for a long moment, searching for something in those red eyes with his own bright, green, shining pools. The kind Katsuki could just fall into. Some things never changed.
As his little hands gripped Katsuki’s shirt, Katsuki held him firmly on his hip. A million thoughts rampaged through that overactive mind. What Katsuki would give to look into the eyes of his own Izuku like this, just to see his mind working again.
And then young Izuku finally pipes up.
“Kacchan looks sad.”
OR:
After falling off the same wavelength following a rough night at an izakaya with Class A, Izuku and Katsuki are suddenly transported into different timelines.
At risk of changing the course of events of their lives, they must carefully figure out what happened and where they ended up. Along the way, they meet versions of each other and their friends that they never thought they'd get to know.
They must fight to find their way back home.
They must fight for a chance to return to each other, and fix what has been broken.

“Hmm?” Katsuki turned to him.
“Please don’t tell All Might I told you this,” Izuku smiled something cautious as he looked at the blonde, making sure he was listening, “but I always thought there was something…” his brow pinched, "weird about them."
“'Bout him and David? Weird how?” Katsuki raised a brow, curious.
“Like,” Izuku looked forward. Then, he breathed out an embarrassed laugh. He leaned closer to Katsuki’s ear and cupped his other hand – even though they were quite literally alone together outside.
“…Old man yaoi weird.”
OR:
Katsuki and Izuku catch up with each other after the war, and make up for lost time.
