“All of it. Raising him. Running the shop. Not losing your mind.”
“You’re not so bad at it yourself,” Kurama says, voice quiet, “You may crash forward, Kazuma, but you seem to land in the right places.”
Kuwabara didn’t mean to fall into something complicated. He’s just tutoring Shura—math problems, dinner after, nothing serious. But Kurama is soft-spoken and sharp-edged, and the lines between help and hope start to blur.
