Summary
Ben, an anthropology student, keeps noticing an elusive cat wandering across campus—always present, yet impossible to catch. The creature seems to linger near him: slipping between columns, darting across the quad, watching with uncanny eyes. Intrigued, Ben follows the cat one evening and makes a startling discovery. Before his eyes, the animal transforms into a young woman named Rey. She reveals that she is cursed, forced to live part of her life as a cat. What began as a curious campus mystery draws Ben into something stranger, where his studies of humanity collide with ancient magic and Rey’s hidden truth.
