Phoenix finds an old gift lying around that he had meant to give to Edgeworth years ago, and Edgeworth finds himself obligated to return the favor. Meanwhile, Phoenix continues to live his life. Summary
"The truth is Amina would never, ever imagine that anyone would be interested in her. But Saira’s not going to be the person who changes that."
Between 2004 and 2023 Saira loses a sister, starts a band, gets and regrets a social media presence, breaks up the band and puts it together again, writes her first love song, headlines(ish) a music festival, listens to the worst song in the world over four hundred times, and falls in love for real. But this story is not about that. This is about music.

In which Grantaire makes friends who might actually be good for him, Joly has an incredibly skewed vision of 'health-promoting activities', Enjolras may or may not be planning an actual attack on the government and Courfeyrac's dad really can't understand why he would move out of a gorgeous one-bedroom in Soho to occupy a studio with a broken radiator in Bushwick. Repost of an old fic.

Bookmarker's Notes
I would literally die for you, OP. Thank you for craving my thirst for this pair that has existed for like a week, and giving it damned good writing too. The writing is poetic, the characterizations are top-notch, and you captured the dynamic super well. I really like the line about sci-fi, because it captures their outlooks on life really succinctly.
