Every instinct in Dazai’s body tells him to run. There is no benefit to staying in this room, not when Chuuya will likely get him sick, and where would that put both of them? Double Black can’t be completely out of commission like this, one of them needs to be in working order or the mafia might go belly up. Mori relies too much on their partnership.
Before Dazai can stutter out an answer, the meek voice of his partner completely derails all trains of thought.

Summary
Here they were dancing a dangerous tango and crossing lines and blurring boundaries that neither Fukuzawa nor Mori would take kindly to. Dazai was supposed to have gotten over Chuuya, not melted in his embrace and bound them together for an eternity.
(Or: Dazai and Chuuya's unconventional relationship sparks a radical change within Dazai when he wakes up one day under the weather and feeling very, very off.)

Summary
Dazai never was really too fussy over secondary genders, all four genders had their pros and cons and he had a knack for making things work out regardless of the cards he was dealt. That being said, he considered himself fortunate enough to be a beta. It was the best outcome, essentially. He was unphased by commands, heats or ruts, he wasn't affected by commands from any of the other genders.
That was, until he stumbled to Chuuya's on a Monday afternoon feeling incredibly ill. You first heat sucks when you don't present until 22, FYI.
