Summary
“We are together now,” Louis whispers. “Nothing will separate us again.”
With Louis warm against him, eyes shining brightly, lips red and begging to be kissed, Harry believes him unquestionably.
As they fall into one another, Harry and Louis forget the concerns that monopolize the realm. They forget everything that isn’t greedy hands, hungry mouths, and words of love. They forget that they have no right to one another – not when they’re in the king’s palace.
Or, a Tudor AU where Harry and Louis are young and betrothed lords in Henry VIII’s court, but when Harry catches the king’s eye, their future becomes as unsteady as England without a male heir.

Summary
“I see you here every day, and I never hear you play a song of your own. It’s good; why don’t you play it in the daytime?”
Louis looks back at him and quirks an eyebrow. “People want to hear songs they know, songs they can dance to,” he explains, slightly annoyed. “They don’t want to hear stuff like that. I wouldn’t make any money if I played my own songs. They wouldn’t listen.”
The man looks pointedly at Louis. “I listened.”
Or, a Once AU where Louis is a brokenhearted street musician and Harry is a feisty yet captivating pianist who shows him that it’s never too late for a second chance.

Summary
Harry remembers the first ever Pride he and Louis went to together. They’d been in a relationship for eight months, and Harry had never felt so in love. He had clung to Louis like an anchor on a ship, kissing him whenever we wanted (which turned out to be incredibly frequently).
As Harry looks at Louis, he knows that Louis is thinking the same thing.
“Happy Pride, love,” Louis says softly, just for him.
“Happy Pride,” Harry replies, meeting Louis halfway for a sweet kiss.
Or, Harry, Louis, and their family attend London Pride.

Summary
“As forward as I have been with you this evening, I am also aware this dinner party isn’t the place to conduct business.” Mr. Tomlinson chuckles quietly to himself, shooting a subtle glance across the table towards their hostess. “And besides, I am sure our hostess would be horribly disappointed to learn that we went away this evening with a business agreement and not a mating one.”
Harry, who had been sipping his wine, coughs harshly at this. He splutters, unaccustomed to such blatant statements about mating.
Mr. Tomlinson continues to laugh quietly, clearly pleased at Harry’s reaction.
“Mrs. Humphreys promised that there was an alpha attending the dinner tonight that I would certainly get on well with,” Mr. Tomlinson continues, voice teasing. “She assured me that we would have much in common since we both work with mills.” Mr. Tomlinson glances at Harry, eyes flashing with mirth. “Little did she know that would be where our mutual interests began and ended.”
Or, a Victorian ABO where Harry is the owner of the most successful cotton mill in Manchester, and Louis is an opinionated social activist about to disrupt Harry’s world.
