Purple was Flame’s new favorite color.
It was the color of grapes and plums that ripened during the crisp autumn season - the color of lilacs and alliums during the fresh spring months.It was the color of a deepening sunset, with bright hues painting the canvas of the vast skies; the color of the fading light.
It was the color of his hair - a dim lamplight illuminating a glow of that hue across his features - his locks drifting with the evening wind.
It was the color of his eyes, with golden flecks that swam in the deep lakes of hue, that seemed to lock onto his face, that seemed to suck him into their endless expanse of color…
