Summary
The young man – confirmed to be unconscious and not dead, much to Lan Zhan’s relief – is not wearing a scrap of clothing. His face is smooth and peaceful, dark lashes trembling in the ocean breeze, lips parted softly. He lays in a bed of ruined roses, the red flowers and petals strewn haphazardly across his body.
If not for the unusual surroundings, the scratches and bruises blooming on his honey-coloured skin, Lan Zhan would think he is taking a nap.
OR
Lan Zhan is haunted by vivid dreams of a life long past. Also, he finds a naked stranger outside his beach house.
The two occurrences are closely related, somehow.

Summary
Wei WuXian looks up to see a beautiful man in flowing white robes, his hair half down and cascading over his shoulders. He dearly wishes to paint this man.
He stares for perhaps too long. The man's expression shifts minutely, and Wei WuXian senses danger. He is definitely not supposed to be here.
“Ah, Gege!” He calls, panicking, trying to squirm out of the man's grasp to no avail. He's going to revisit this casual display of strength later tonight, in his bed, and maybe fantasize about being thrown around a little. For now, he needs to get out of here in one piece.

Wei WuXian has a bone to pick with the Emperor, and somehow ends up his portrait painter instead.
