“Mmm… you know…I don’t really like the summertime.” Rui spoke absentmindedly, tilting his head against his open arm, the one holding the swing chain.
Tsukasa sat on the swing beside him. This scene felt all too familiar, he thought as he kicked his legs up and down, lightly grazing the ground below him. The sky was clear, allowing the burning sun to shine directly on them, and the streets were quiet. The soft purring of a cat cut through the otherwise comfortable silence. Tsukasa didn’t need to look to know the cat, black as night, sat atop Rui’s lap, large hands belonging to the other carding through its soft fur.
