“Hyung, do you think the stray cats get cold at night?” There’s a pregnant pause in between Seokmin’s words and the background noise is audible through Seungcheol’s phone speaker for a moment,
“Can they get colds like we do?”
Seungcheol blinks, absorbing the question.
“What?”
His voice rumbles out as he rubs puffy eyes, vision still blurry after being startled awake by his high-pitched ringtone. From his phone that he leaves silenced except for if any of the members’ contacts are the ones dialing his. But he’s still drowsy, tone laced with sleepiness he’s sure is obvious through the phone.
Sue him if he’s a little dazed, because it’s 2:14 am and Seokmin called him to ask if feral cats get cold in the middle of January. And maybe he’s a little confused at Seokmin’s question because just like the younger, Seungcheol is an idol, not a veterinarian. And after barely three hours of sleep, he's just been woken up by Seokmin’s call for a question he’s pretty sure can wait until tomorrow.
But there’s a tug in his chest at Seokmin’s tone and timing, telling him this is about more than his dongsaeng getting attached to a sick cat.

Summary
In all fairness— Seokmin placed the call when he was way too wine-drunk to remember his own name. And, he doesn’t remember much of it, but he remembers Mingyu saying, “Yeah, I know who you are—” and also, “Sounds fun.” Which is enough information for Seokmin to determine that Mingyu must be a sociopath or something else equally unsavory.
Seriously, what kind of freak agrees to attend their ex-boyfriend’s wedding with the ex-boyfriend of their ex-boyfriend’s new boyfriend? It’s borderline criminal.
(OR: Seokmin is totally over Joshua, so he asks Joshua's fiance's ex-boyfriend to be his pretend boyfriend to prove it. It just makes sense.)

“Wonu-hyung?” Seokmin asks his ex-boyfriend as he looks into the other’s eyes, which are big and bright behind his glasses. It all makes sense to him, now. Gam3bo1. Wonu. One and the same.
“What are you doing here?” Wonu asks, voice surprised as he finally takes the can from Seokmin’s hands and places it next to the keyboard. The same keyboard Seokmin cleaned for him this morning.
“I-I’m working here. As staff.” He replies simply, too flabbergasted to say anything else. To see his ex, here, competing in the same competition he had to bust his ass to set up… The irony of it all isn’t lost on him.
“Oh!” Wonu is clearly just as flabbergasted as him, looking the other up and down with a gaze that Seokmin can’t identify. “Well, good job. The keyboard is really… smooth today.”
Or; Seokmin and Wonu haven't seen each other in ten years since they broke up, and reunite at a gaming competition Wonu is competing in
