“You’re not asked to babysit,” Foster sighed tiredly. The pen in his hands played an out-of-beat rhythm where he was repeatedly tapping it on his forehead so as to not hurl it into Atsumu’s face, “we just ask that you welcome him, show him around, this kind of things. Sakusa’s new here.”
Atsumu slumped further into his seat and jutted his lips out, gaze fixed on the ugly, volleyball-themed figurines littering Foster’s desk. “But why me?”

"Osamu realised his mouth was hanging open and rushed to close it, straightening a bit behind the counter as his mind raced between scenarios and memories. He tried to talk but no words formed, and he felt mortified when he imagined what he might look like.
Suna stopped in front of the counter, looked at him, and offered him a sober, “hello, Osamu,” with a dip of his head, as if yesterday was the last time they had talked.”
Two years after graduation, Osamu has moved to Tokyo and away from Suna. That is, until Suna casually drops by his job, and suddenly Osamu is not sure of anything anymore.
