Not so long ago, Pieck is convinced that everything in the world is analyzable, like the theory classes she used to be best at. The Zeke thing is simple. Put him on one side of the scale, and the rest on the other. One to many. His weight, in her mind, is obviously far less than the rest of the world put together. Besides, he has brought it on himself. He has gone to the other side to fight them. He deserves it. His life is a trifle.
But when she weighs him in her heart, Zeke and Pock weigh as much. Zeke weighs the same as Porco, the Panzer Unit, Captain Magath, Gabi, Zofia, Udo, Falco or Colt. No matter how heavy the others are, Zeke is perfectly balanced with them.
