Severus Snape has a suspicion. A suspicion that Remus Lupin is a werewolf. To confirm said suspicion, he needs to conduct a few experiments and interrogations.
Remus, in turn, thinks that Severus is flirting with him.

“What’s your birthday?” Severus asked, slipping the glow worm into the cauldron with a cautious hand. “Hm?” Remus hummed, confused. “When were you born?” Severus repeated. “Why do you want to know that?” Remus asked, looking Severus over with a fond, yet confused, gleam in his eyes.
“Just— tell me. What is your birthday?”
“March 10th.”
“Okay. Interesting.”
Remus didn’t miss the way Severus’ eyes narrowed. Quite cute, if Remus had to be honest.

Lucy Gray followed his gaze, and was now also looking at Sejanus. Sejanus was desperately trying to get Marcus to come to him. “Why are you looking at him?” Lucy Gray said, as she raised her eyebrow. “His name is Sejanus,” He said, Lucy Gray rolled her big brown eyes. “Okay, why are you looking at Sejanus?” She repeated, getting annoyed. Coriolanus quickly flushed red by Lucy Gray’s questions. “I’m only looking at him because he’s pathetic, trying to get Marcus to go to him like a puppy.” Coriolanus said as he berated himself for saying such rude things about the boy he loved with all of his heart.

“I thought you could give this to Lucy Gray,” Sejanus said as he held the sandwich towards Coriolanus, and he begrudgingly took it. ”Marcus didn’t accept it anyway.” He smiled, as he patted Sejanus’s shoulder. “I’ll make sure this gets to Lucy Gray, don’t worry.” Sejanus smiled warmly, and for a second, he thought Sejanus looked quite pretty. Sejanus’s chocolate brown curls always looked amazing, but right now, Coriolanus just wanted to run his hands through Sejanus’s hair. But that was normal, and completely platonic.
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like ‘I love you.’

Summary
The undergrowth rustles as something pushes through. Neytiri holds her position, bow lifted to her shoulder, string remaining slack.
She stops breathing all together when it reveals itself.
Pink pale skin, bright hair helplessly tangled and a small body that shouldn’t be able to walk as freely as it does on her planet peeks through. Neytiri’s breath becomes short with rage as it slowly approaches the river bank, using all four limbs in a kind of imitation of a viperwolf’s loping walk. The edges of her sight turn dark as it turns to the traps in the water.
A skyperson has been stealing food from her people. A pink skin, whose kind has already taken so much from her planet, deigns to feed itself on their catches. Distantly, she knows she’s becoming incensed, but she can’t help it. Her rage burns through her consciousness so quickly that she’s drawing back an arrow before she can even think about it.

“Maybe tomorrow,” he said.
He felt so guilty— of course he felt guilty. It was his primary emotion. Along the edges of the numbness was a gaping canon full of guilt. Guilt of being captured, guilt of being a translator, guilt at not being able to stop the murder of what he now knew were Ronal’s spirit sister and her newborn calf.
He felt guilt at how much he wanted his life to be over.
