Summary
Five times Uenoyama tries to be a better boyfriend for Mafuyu and nails it. (As best as he can.)
“Buttercup…?” Mafuyu asks in a muted shock.
“Yeah, just a nickname I thought for you.” Uenoyama replies gruffly while his mind screams aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. “I can drop it if you want.”
“Don’t.” Mafuyu quickly says, sounding almost… panicked. “I liked it. You can call me ‘buttercup’, Uenoyama-kun.”
“Oh. Cool.”
“Hm.”
They quietly sit on the floor with red faces until their bandmates come back.

Note to self: don't accidentally fall in love with a prince who's in an arranged marriage keeping your kingdoms from declaring war against each other. Especially when you're spying on him as his manservant.

Summary
It takes a moment for Shouto to process the tears and questions coming from Izuku. He doesn’t know how to respond. How does he tell a thirteen year old Izuku that he saved him from himself? How does he convey just how not worthless Izuku is? And how soon can Shouto go find Bakugou to give his dick frostbite for undoubtedly being the one that made Izuku think like this.
(AKA: the fic where I thought "what if 18 yr old Izuku was turned 13 again, had the lowest damn self esteem ever, and got to see how good his future turns out.")

“You don’t think that’s strange?” he says. His voice, his new voice, is familiar now. But sometimes it almost startles him, hearing it come from his mouth. “It’s been nine months. I’ve used them almost every day. I should know how long these legs are.”

Midoriya is a surprising font of practical training pain relief, as well as having to explain to Todoroki what having a crush on someone is like.

Summary
He didn’t think it would matter if Midoriya were taking him to a sewer convention; it was probably still going to be the highlight of his Golden Week.
To avoid a visit from his unpleasant grandparents, Todoroki attends a hero convention with Midoriya and learns a few things along the way.

Summary
The receptionist blanches. “Oh my god, you’re not a couple! I’m so, so sorry, it’s just that this is a very popular destination for honeymoons, and you also booked a room with a king-sized bed, so I just assumed that-”
“We didn’t book a room with one bed,” Todoroki interrupts, looking at Midoriya sideways, just in case this is a prank. “Right?” he asks, and Midoriya nods furiously in response.When it turns out Uraraka can’t play Midoriya’s girlfriend in front of his family for the obligatory annual Christmas dinner, he finds himself backed into a corner. Thinking it won’t be so bad, he asks Todoroki – someone he absolutely does not have a crush on- to help him and pose as his fake boyfriend.
Except, feelings are a little more complicated than that, and things don’t go quite as planned.- Language:

Summary
Victor learns Japanese while in Hasetsu. He doesn't tell Yuuri, and things get dicey when he overhears Yuuri and Mari talking about him in Japanese. Repeatedly.
(The subtitle of this fic should be: Victor Nikiforov really needs a hug. Luckily, he gets one. Eventually.)
~~~
“No,” Victor says, skating up to Yuuri on the ice, “you have to push all the way from here, or you’ll never get the height you need for that axel.” He sets his hand on Yuuri’s ass, tracing the muscle group he’s referring to. “Not here.” He taps Yuuri’s thigh. He doesn’t know the words for the muscles in English, only knows how to show him.
Yes, technically he’s grabbing Yuuri’s ass, but how else is he to communicate?
