Summary
Chiaki was touchy. Very touchy. At the start of their friendship Kaoru was constantly surprised; he’d never met anyone who so readily would hug someone for absolutely no apparent reason. And aside from the hugs, Chiaki was so...so unaware of the implications of his own actions. To hug another guy? When it wasn’t even for a dare? If Kaoru hadn’t known any better he would’ve thought Chiaki was gay. Which clearly, Chiaki couldn’t be. Gay people don’t play basketball. (Or so Kaoru justified).
