He didn’t hear Gokuhara’s disaffirmation at the liar’s statement. It wasn’t this mentioned statement which was surprising to Saihara, he knew it was just a lie. He needn’t to be the Ultimate Detective to know it. That was something different. His body was on fire. He didn’t know what’s happening or what caused it, but it hurt.
