You could never get used to the weird feeling you get in the aftermath of a successful FLARP session. When the game is over and it’s time to set sail, taking your spoils back to spidermom as your rival drags his down into the sea, an eerie quiet hangs in the air. Once you notice it, it’s like the fragile fake world you made starts to fall apart from the inside out. It comes in waves, the euphoria pattering away as every little uncomfortable bit of reality starts to fade back in.
