Summary
When the Potters found out that they were having a girl, they were equal parts worried and overjoyed. When the Dursleys found out that they would be taking in their niece, all they felt was apprehension.
When Aralynn sat on the stool in front of the Great Hall, there had been no blond boy offering her his hand in friendship. There was only a hat that saw into her head and saw a thirst to prove herself. "Where you'll make your true friends," the hat had said, and so when it opened its mouth, the name of the house of serpents was the one that was screamed out. Our hero was a heroine, and she wore green and silver.
