"Oh, mi hija" Rosa said, approaching Fiore before coming to sit in front of her. Her tone was full of gentle concern, the type you can really only receive from a mother.

His therapist heaves out a sigh.
(Or: Alec deals with the fallout of his divorce, losing custody of his son, not being able to contact Fiore, and losing a chance at a million dollars. But somehow it’s Connor getting a girlfriend that makes him snap).
